Tax Year to be those personnel whose W2's contain one of 12 EIN's. The EIN ( Employer
ID Number ) is the number in Box 'b' of the W2 form. Reserve and National Guard
personnel who are classified as permanent 'Active Duty' by the Defense Department
will have a W2 containing one of the EIN's. This offer applies to those active duty
military personnel who received a
2009
W-2 form.

year. To my pleasant surprise, I saw your very generous offer to process taxes for
active duty military personnel at no charge. Thank you! I am comfortably well off,

Dear TaxSlayer,
I’m an active duty soldier in the US Army, I just wanted to take a minute
and thank you for allowing me and all other active duty service members to file
our taxes for free using your software. It is not often that a company will extend
that kind of appreciation to the armed services. I would also like to commend you
on the excellent software. I learned about your software and free-filing offer from
a colleague, unfortunately I had already purchased TurboTax. My wife and I had expected
to owe on this years return and TurboTax confirmed this to the tune of $800. Just
out of curiosity, I re-computed my taxes using your program and my tax bill dropped
$350!! I like the simplicity of your program and appreciate the lack of commercial
